The Uncanny Counter 2, Ep 7 earns LOWEST rating of season so far – still doing well internationally

The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch, Episode 7 sees a slight audience drop in South Korea
The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch, Episode 7 aired in South Korea last night to its lowest rating of the season so far. Both nationwide and in Seoul.
That rating, according to Nielsen Korea, was 3.84 percent nationwide, which is down from the previous episode’s 4.33 percent and lower than the drama earned for its first episode (3.94 percent).
In Seoul, The Uncanny Counter 2, Episode 7 garnered 3.88 percent, which is down from 4.53 percent for Episode 6.
Despite the drama’s rating drop, according to Nielsen Korea, The Uncanny Counter 2, Episode 7 was still #1 on cable TV both nationwide and in Seoul on Saturday.
International viewers’ ratings for The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch
International viewers of The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch are still rating the drama a high 8.6 out of 10 via My Drama List.
That rating has remained high since its first episode, even though many commenting at My Drama List are decrying the drama’s quality drop in Season 2. Especially when it comes to the plot,
The supernatural action drama is also still rated an 8.1 out of 10 by users of IMDB.
Meanwhile, on Netflix where the drama is currently streaming for international viewers, The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch was the sixth most-watched Non-English language TV series last week.
Proving the tvN drama still seems to be keeping the popularity it earned during its first season so far.
The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch stars Jo Byeong Kyu, Yoo Jun Sang, Kim Se Jeong, Yeom Hye Ran, Ahn Suk Hwan, and Yoo In Soo.
The next episode of the drama will air in South Korea on tvN later on tonight followed by an upload to Netflix soon after.
