The Apothecary Diaries Vol 10 manga in English soon – Maomao and Jinshi fool the foreign envoys

Square Enix publishing The Apothecary Diaries manga Vol. 10 in English this month
Without any hyperbole at all, I am happy to tell you The Apothecary Diaries manga series is one of the best series I have read all year.
It is beautifully drawn, superbly and intelligently written and with some of the most interesting characters in any historical-based manga published recently.
Plus downright fascinating and, in quite a few parts, so hilarious, few mangaka and their artists have been able to offer anything better than this.
In fact, I enjoyed The Apothecary Diaries manga series so much, I read all nine volumes currently available in English in just two nights, then headed off to buy the light novels they are based on so I could find out what happens with Maomao and Jinshi et al next.
Now, with The Apothecary Diaries, Volume 10 manga being published in English later this month, while I already know what happens in it, I will still be grabbing it on the first day it comes out so I can experience it again.
(After all, who wouldn’t want to see Jinshi the way he turns out in this one?!)
But this time through those gorgeous illustrations.
Because, yes, that’s right, the English version of The Apothecary Diaries, Volume 10 is due out on November 28th in both paperback and digital versions of the manga.
As they have done for Volumes 1-9, Square Enix is the company publishing The Apothecary Diaries, Volume 10 in English.
Volume 10 of the manga comes right on the tail of Volume 9, which was published in English in August, and just a few months before Volume 11, which will be out via Square Enix on March 5th, 2024.
Square Enix has this to say about the plot of The Apothecary Diaries, Volume 10 manga in English:
When two beautiful foreign envoys with designs on the Emperor come calling with a tale of old about a spellbinding courtesan who captured the imagination of their family patriarch, it’s up to Maomao to concoct a theatrical scheme to give the ladies a whopper of a story to take home!
Later, Maomao goes back to sniffing around the Inner Court to find out the truth about the troubling prevalence of those foreign perfume oils that could spell disaster for the throne’s future heirs…
