Cha Joo Young #1 on Drama Actor Brand Reputation list for March – surprising but very cool

The March Drama Actor Brand Reputation list is out from the Korean Business Research Institute and the actor who is at #1 is not the person I would expect.
Although, let me just add, I am not complaining about her win at all.
That actor is The Queen Who Crowns‘ Cha Joo Young – the actress who played main lead Queen Won Gyeong in the drama series.
And the only reason I wouldn’t have guessed she would be in the top spot this month is due to The Queen Who Crowns ending in early February.
But, the 34-year-old actress grabbed the #1 spot on the list with a brand reputation index of 4,391,932 — 82,093 more than her closest competitor, the actor at #2 – Choo Young Woo, star of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.
In third place, we have Seo Kang Jun (Undercover High School), in the 4th spot is Ju Ji Hoon (The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call), with Park Bo Young of Melo Movie in the 5th place.

That listing means Undercover High School had 3 of its actors in the Top 20, as did The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call and When the Stars Gossip, while Buried Hearts, Melo Movie, My Dearest Nemesis, and The Potato Lab had two.
Their directors and producers must be thrilled.
I have to say, though, I am very surprised not one actor from The Art of Negotiation is on the list.
Although, as that Korean drama only premiered on March 8th, and the rankings run for K-dramas airing between February 13th and March 13th, I am guessing the April list will look quite a bit different.
Meanwhile, you can watch the top three stars’ dramas — Cha Joo Young’s The Queen Who Crowns on Viki , Choo Young Woo’s The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call on Netflix, and Seo Kang Jun’s Undercover High School on Viki.
