Kim Hye Soo (김혜수), who recently starred in the Korean drama Unmasked, has hit the #1 spot in the Movie Star Brand Reputation rankings for March, 2025.
The rankings cover the period February 18th to March 18th.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute, who compiles the rankings, Kim Hye Soo topped the ranking with an index of 3,886,915.
The rankings are compiled from a mix of media coverage of each of 50 top actors, along with consumer participation on platforms like social media, interaction and community awareness.

Behind Kim Hye Soo at #1, Son Suk Ku (Night Fishing) earned a brand reputation index of 3,842,892 putting him firmly in second place, with Lee Byung Hun (star of the recently released film The Match and Squid Game 2) at #3.
Rounding out the Top 5, we have Choi Woo Shik (Melo Movie) at #4, and Jung Hae In (I, The Executioner) at #5.

As always, the Movie Star Brand Reputation rankings, while not particularly important or interesting to many Korean drama and film fans, especially those overseas, they are important for the stars who top them.
That’s because, being higher ranked, often opens up opportunities for advertising contracts and even more offers to star in K-dramas and films.
Congratulations to Kim Hye Soo then and, if you want to remind yourself just what an incredibly talented actress she is, her hit drama Under the Queen’s Umbrella is still streaming on Netflix, with her latest drama, Unmasked, currently available via Disney+.
