Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin to star as married couple in The Number You Have Dialed? Here’s what we know

Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin to play a couple with no feelings for each other?
According to Korean news media, actors Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin may be starring in the upcoming drama The Number You Have Dialed (working title).
The new Korean drama, which is based on a webtoon of the same name, tells the story of Baek Sa Eon, a young politician from an elite family who receives a phone call telling him his wife, Hong Hee Joo, has been kidnapped.
Hee Joo is a sign language interpreter who suffers from aphasia, the inability to speak correctly or to interpret the written language in the way it was meant.
The marriage between the two was an arranged marriage, so they are more of a couple in name only.
Due to the kidnapping though, feelings begin to change.
Yoo Yeon Seok has been offered the role of Baek Sa Eon, while Chae Soo Bin would play his wife.
Both actors are represented by King Kong by Starship, who confirmed they had been offered main roles in The Number You Have Dialed, and were both considering them positively.
Not much else is known about the K-drama so far, but we will keep you updated as soon as more information is released.
Yoo Yeon Seok’s previous roles
The 39-year-old actor, of course, is well-known for some of the most iconic roles in recent K-drama history.
Yoo Yeon Seok played Ahun Jung Won in the critically acclaimed Hospital Playlist (Seasons 1 and 2), as well as had main roles in hit dramas like Mr. Sunshine, Dr. Romantic, Narco-Saints, Reply 1994 and Warm and Cozy.
He has also starred in a number of popular movies that include My Heart Puppy, Vanishing, The Royal Tailor, Perfect Proposal, Love Lies, The Beauty Inside and New Year Blues.
Chae Soo Bin’s career
As for Chae Soo Bin, the 29-year-old Gyeonggi-do native made her debut in 2014 in the film My Dictator, and then went on to star in movies like Your Name is Rose, Sweet & Sour, M. Boy and The Pirates 2: The Last Royal Treasure.
The Korean actress has also had main roles in some superb K-dramas, including Strongest Deliveryman, Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People, I’m Not a Robot, Where Stars Land, A Piece of Your Mind and Rookie Cops.
Both are incredibly talented actors, and have had excellent chemistry with other co-stars so it will be interesting to see, if they accept roles in The Number You Have Dialed, if they have the same chemistry with each other.
You can currently watch Chae Soo Bin in her starring role in the Netflix drama The Fabulous, while Yoo Yeon Seok is on the same streaming platform in Mr. Sunshine.
