Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei’s Moonlit Reunion exceeds 2.5 million reservations – poster and BTS video drop

Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei’s fantasy romance drama Moonlit Reunion has just exceeded 2.5 million reservations.
That’s up half a million from the 2 million initially reported back in late June.
In response, Tencent Video dropped a beautiful celebratory poster via their Weibo account, as well as a cute behind-the-scenes video featuring the two lead actors as Xu Kai carries Tian Xi Wei in a princess hold. (see below).
No word yet, of course, when Moonlit Reunion is premiering on Tencent Video/WeTV but, with a planned schedule of multiple promo pieces over the next week, and a premiere date announcement reportedly coming on August 11th, it is likely to be very soon.

Tencent Video also has Moonlit Reunion on their Q3 broadcast schedule, which means, unless there are unforeseen complications, the Chinese drama is dropping in the next few weeks.

The Chinese drama also features an excellent supporting cast, including Wang Jia Yi (Full River Red movie), Wu Jun Ting (The Unexpected Marriage), Yi Da Qian (Smart Constable Chronicles), Nik Shan (Les Belles), Lai Wei Ming (Fangs of Fortune) and Fan Shi Ran (Derailment).
Yep, Moonlit Reunion has an insanely good male lead and supporting cast and some of the C-drama world’s prettiest boys!
Meanwhile, equally hot male lead Xu Kai, of course, is known for his roles in such popular C-dramas as Sword and Fairy, As Beautiful as You, Snow Eagle Lord and Ancient Love Poetry, while adorably pretty female lead Tian Xi Wei was a big hit in Guardians of the Dafeng, In Between, Romance on the Farm, Ms. Cupid in Love and Wrong Carriage, Right Groom.
