While I think I have dropped The Real Has Come after Episode 3 (sorry, but I am just not good with the extreme melodrama of Korean weekend dramas), most of South Korea has certainly not done that.
Not with the just released The Real Has Come, Episode 4 ratings from Nielsen Korea.
They show the 50-episode Korean drama not only with mammoth ratings both nationwide in Korea and in Seoul, but also close to earning the show’s highest ratings of Episode 2.
Nationwide in Korea, The Real Has Come, Episode 4 ratings show the KBS2 drama earned 19.5 percent of the audience in its time slot, and a lower 17.9 percent in Seoul.
Those ratings are only 1.3 percent below the drama’s best (Episode 2) and a .9 percent lower in Seoul.
The Real Has Come stars Ahn Jae Hyun and Baek Jin Hee as two people who, not wanting to get married, enter into a contract marriage that then leads to childbirth, child rearing and, yes, family.
The supporting cast is superb and, if you like the extreme melodrama of Korean weekend dramas, and all the evil, annoying characters that come with that, you will probably enjoy this one as, for that genre, so far it is well done.
The Real Has Come airs every Saturday and Sunday at 19:55 (KST) on KBS2 in South Korea.
