The episode release schedule for the first nine days of the upcoming Chinese drama The Immortal Ascension has been announced and, for anyone who has watched YOUKU for a while, it’s pretty much what you’d expect.
The cultivation drama premieres tomorrow, July 27th, and this is how many episodes of The Immortal Ascension you can expect to be able to watch per day going forward then.
Depending, of course, on whether you are a regular VIP subscriber to YOUKU or are willing to pay for TV On Demand.
The Immortal Ascension release schedule for Week 1
According to the pretty posters dropped by YOUKU (above and below), you can expect to be able to watch Episodes 1 through 3 on Sunday, July 27th if you’re a VIP subscriber, with Episode 4 also available for those who pay for TVOD.
Episodes 4 and 5 will drop on July 28th for VIP subscribers, with Episode 6 also available for TVOD subscribers.
Episodes 6 and 7 will release on July 29th for VIP subscribers, with Episode 8 viewable by TVOD subscribers.
VIP subscribers will get access to Episodes 8 and 9 on July 30th, while TVOD subscribers will also have access to Episode 10.
Episode 10 will then be available for VIP subscribers on July 31st (yes, just one episode will be released that day), with Episode 11 dropping for TVOD folks.
Episodes 11 and 12 will drop on August 1st for VIP subscribers, with TVOD subscribers getting Episodes 12 and 13.

VIP subscribers will be able to watch Episodes 13 and 14 on August 2nd, while TVOD subscribers get access to Episodes 14 and 15.
The first nine days of The Immortal Ascension then come to an end with VIP subscribers being able to watch Episode 15, and TVOD subscribers with access to Episode 16.
