Surely Tomorrow sees solid audience rise over its first episode
JTBC’s Surely Tomorrow, Episode 4 aired last night to another jump in its rating, and to a new personal best.
The Park Seo Joon and Won Ji An-led K-drama earned 3.88 percent of the nationwide viewership on Sunday night, which is a solid increase from the 3.06 percent it garnered on Saturday.
The Korean romance drama also achieved its highest audience share in Seoul so far, grabbing 3.69 percent of the viewership versus the already solid 3.09 percent it garnered the night before.
Both ratings put the Korean romance drama in the #1 spot in its time slot.
Considering the K-drama started out with a 2.72 percent/2.94 percent rating for its first episode on December 6th, such a solid increase seems to show audiences are warming up both to its leads and the story.

International ratings for Surely Tomorrow
Again, like I always warn, ignore these ratings when it comes to choosing a drama to watch as they are highly negatively affected by trolls.
My Drama List is now showing Surely Tomorrow earning a low 7.8 out of 10, but with the majority of users of the platform actually watching the drama and commenting saying “Ignore the ratings, it’s excellent”, and with some viewer’s only criticism being that the flashbacks can be somewhat annoying.
Like I always warn about MDL, their ratings are usually more reputable once a drama has ended its run, and as trolls move on to the next K-drama to destroy, so take that rating with a grain of salt right now.
On IMDB, a platform that has an even worse reputation when it comes to trolls running unchecked, Surely Tomorrow is earning a lower 7.5 out of 10.
I can only comment by saying I have just watched Episode 1 so far but, if the rest of the Korean drama continues to be as well-written and performed as that, it is well deserving of at least an 8.0 out of 10.
In other words, watch Surely Tomorrow yourself and make up your own mind.
