Strong Girl Nam Soon E14 has BIG ratings rise as JTBC plans third series in the franchise

With just 2 episodes to air, Strong Girl Nam Soon‘s ratings are on the rise
As Strong Girl Nam Soon heads into next week’s final weekend, the Korean drama’s latest episode aired on JTBC on Sunday night to higher ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, Strong Girl Nam Soon, Episode 14’s nationwide ratings rose from Saturday night’s 7.38 percent to last night’s 8.98 percent.
A big increase, and rapidly heading back towards the K-drama’s highest ever rating of 9.76 percent it earned for Episode 4.
In Seoul, Strong Girl Nam Soon, Episode 14 experienced a similar ratings rise with an increase to 9.55 percent from its previous episode’s 8.29 percent.
In both regions, the Korean drama was #1 in its time slot.
Third series of Strong Girl franchise planned by JTBC
Meanwhile, according to Korean news media, Korean broadcaster JTBC is already planning for a third series of the hit Strong Girl franchise.
While they will not commit to what, who or when, a JTBC spokesperson did confirm:
There are plans for a follow-up series, but we are currently concentrating on writing other works.
In other words, don’t get your hopes up that a third season of the comedy drama will be heading our way any time soon, after all the second season in the series took five years to arrive, but… it is coming.
Strong Girl Nam Soon, of course, is a spin-off of the original Strong Girl Bong Soon series, which aired in 2017, but with completely different characters.
The drama stars Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, and Byeon Woo Seok
The Korean comedy action adventure finishes its 16 episode run next weekend, with its series finale airing on JTBC on Sunday, November 26th at 22:30 (KST).
Netflix will carry the final episode of the K-drama for international viewers around the same time.
