The Korean romance drama See You In My 19th Life, Episode 5 aired in South Korea last night and saw a slight drop in its ratings over its previous episode, which had garnered the drama its highest ratings yet.
That being said, See You In My 19th Life is still killing it on Netflix, where the drama is airing outside Korea, so there’s that.
According to Nielsen Korea, See You In My 19th Life, Episode 5 saw a ratings drop to 4.45 percent nationwide last night, which is down from its previous episode’s 5.73 percent.
In Seoul, the drama also earned its lowest rating yet with a 4.70 percent rating, which is a drop from its previous episode’s 6.28 percent.
See You In My 19th Life does always earn lower ratings on a Saturday night, though, so it will be interesting to see how Episode 6 fares later on tonight.
See You In My 19th Life on Netflix
On Netflix, however, where the drama is being watched by several million worldwide, it only continues to draw in even more viewers as each new episode releases.
See You In My 19th Life is now the 6th most watched TV show on Netflix, and has been for the last few days.
That is nicely up from the drama’s 9th place on June 22nd.
The drama is also the #2 most-watched TV show in Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, India, Honduras, El Salvador, and Peru, and in the Top 5 in almost 20 more.
See You In My 19th Life is based on the hit webtoon by Lee Hey and, if you love a good romantic webtoon, I recommend this one as it is not only beautifully written and illustrated, it also fills in some of the plot holes of the drama series.
The drama based on the webtoon stars Shin Hye Sun, Ahn Bo Hyun, Ha Yoon Kyung, and Ahn Dong Goo, and airs on tvN in South Korea every Saturday and Sunday at 21:20 (KST).
A new episode is uploaded to Netflix for international viewers soon after.
