New KBS2 drama Perfect Family, Episode 2 ratings were still solid last night after the drama premiered on Wednesday night.
The latest data coming out of Nielsen Korea shows Perfect Family, Episode 2 earned 2.5 percent of the audience share, which is only slightly down from 2.6 percent.
That data looks good for the Korean family mystery drama for its next 10 episodes, as dramas that are steady or rise in the ratings for their second episode often continue to perform even better with later episodes.
And, by the way, if you haven’t started watching Perfect Family yet, the second episode of the K-drama is even better than the first.
The cast and plot of Perfect Family
Perfect Family stars Park Ju Hyun, Yoon Se Ah, and Kim Byung Chul.
It tells the story of a “perfect family” comprising father Choi Jin Hyuk (played by Kim Byung Chul), mother Ha Eun Joo (Yoon Se Ah) and their adopted daughter Choi Seon Hee (Park Ju Hyun).
Things start to go wrong, however, when Seon Hee’s friend Park Kyung Ho (Kim Young Dae) is murdered and Seon Hee becomes a suspect.
Perfect Family airs every Wednesday and Thursday on KBS2 – the first Wed/Thurs drama the Korean network has aired in several years — and streams on Viki internationally.
Its next episode will air/stream on August 21st.
