Upcoming K-drama Death’s Game will be fire
As one of Europe’s biggest Kim Jae Uck fans, which upcoming K-drama do you think I am looking forward to the most?
If the first one that popped into your head was Death’s Game, yep, you would be correct.
Not only because Kim Jae Uck (aka Kim Jae Wook) is one of its stars (well, in a supporting role, but I don’t care), it also features Kim Ji Hoon (Ballerina), Choi Si Won (Love is for Suckers), Oh Jung Se (Sweet Home), Lee Jae Wook (Alchemy of Souls) and Lee Do Hyun (The Good Bad Mother) alongside several other big hitters in the Korean drama world.
Throw in that Seo In Guk (Doom at Your Service) plays the drama’s protagonist and Park So Dam (Record of Youth) has accepted the role of Death, and that the K-drama is based on one of my favorite webtoons, and yep, Death’s Game is one of my most-anticipated K-dramas of 2023.
The full Death’s Game main cast and major guest stars, by the way, is main leads Seo In Guk and Park So Dam, alongside Kim Ji Hoon, Choi Si Won, Kim Jae Uck, Sung Hoon, Kim Kang Hoon, Lee Jae Wook, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Do Hyun, Go Yoon Jung, and Oh Jung Se.
And now that TVING has just released a powerful new Death’s Game poster earlier today promoting the upcoming drama (see below), this one is looking even better and better by the damned minute.
New Death’s Game poster released by TVING
The latest Death’s Game poster features Death (Park So Dam) and protagonist Choi Yi Jae (Seo In Guk), with Death’s foot on Yi Jae’s neck as she sentences him to 12 reincarnations and 12 deaths as punishment for committing suicide.
A statue stands in the background featuring three human figures obviously in agony, seeming to suggest Choi Yi Jae’s lives going forward may not be what he expects or would like.
While an official date for release via TVING has not yet been announced, the K-drama is due to hit the streaming platform some time in December.
We will let you know as soon as that date is announced.

Most of these stellar actors will be playing the roles of Choi Yi Jae’s 12 reincarnations, and I for one cannot wait.
