My Page in the 90s releases – cute premiere poster and 800,000 reservations visual drop

Chinese fantasy rom-com My Page in the 90s premiered today, and dropped a premiere poster featuring the four main cast members — Kido Ma, Chen Xing Xu, Wang Yu Wen and Zeng Meng Xue.
A second poster also dropped celebrating the 800,000 reservations the C-drama had earned prior to release, which jumped quickly from the 300,000 it had earned just two days before.
The first four episodes of the transmigration series started streaming on WeTV internationally this morning, with Episode 5 also available for anyone willing to pay for Express.
The C-drama will also be streaming on Viki, but 24 hours later than its WeTV premiere.

Interestingly, the international ratings for the Chinese drama are currently mixed on My Drama List (MAL) with some viewers loving the light comedy, while others are finding the writing and the premise “annoying”.

Of course, some of the negativity is likely because some people watching the rom-com are fans of Chen Xing Xu, and have arrived at My Page in the 90s right after watching the actor in Love Between Lines, which has a completely different premise and feel to it.
Coming from a straight romance to a quite silly rom-com then can be jarring. Especially when both star the same male lead.
That being said, the rating over on MAL then is a low-ish 7.7 out of 10 so far.
Considering many new dramas are rated down by trolls on MAL, though, it’s never a good idea to pay any attention to the site’s ratings until a drama has at least 10-12 episodes out, which is when people watching the drama begin to rate it.
In other words, if you’re interested in the plot or the actors, give it a try yourself as most ratings at this stage in the game are not remotely reliable.
The Lin Zi Pin-directed My Page in the 90s will run for 28 episodes of 45 minutes each.
