My Dearest Nemesis, Ep 5 earns highest rating yet – international viewers still loving it

Korean drama My Dearest Nemesis, Episode 5 hit new highs last night in South Korea, with its best ratings yet – in both nationwide ratings data and in Seoul.
According to Nielsen Korea, My Dearest Nemesis, Episode 5 earned 4.90 percent of the nationwide ratings, which is up from the 4.07 percent the K-drama garnered for Episode 4, while also being the #1 most-watched show in its time slot.
The tvN drama was similarly successful in Seoul where it grabbed a slightly higher 4.92 percent of that region’s audience share.
With eight more episodes to air, and with international viewers overwhelmingly positive about the show, it is very likely the K-drama’s ratings will continue to go up from here.
International viewers still love My Dearest Nemesis
When you look at personal ratings from international viewers, and their comments, it is obvious they are still loving My Dearest Nemesis five episodes in.
On My Drama List, the Korean drama is currently being rated a very high (for that site) 8.4 out of 10 stars from over 3,200 users of the site.
Meanwhile, the drama is performing even better over on Viki, where it is streaming for its international subscribers.
Over there, over 6,200 viewers are rating My Dearest Nemesis a crazy high 9.7 out of 10, with almost every comment incredibly positive.
EEKKKK!!! The first four episodes were SO good!!! It feels like it’s a combination of a webtoon high-school love story and a spicy CEO romance. The comedy, awkward moments, and aesthetic feel like “True Beauty,” but it’s got more adult chemistry and less high school scenes.
The demanding chaebol boss terrorizing his sexy assistant trope is DEFINITELY present, but the clichés aren’t overplayed. The combination is fantastic.

I already enjoyed Choi Hyun Wook’s work in Sparkling Watermelon, and was excited to watch him again. He has an awesome ability to bring a naturalness to his roles, be it comedic, tragic, or serious. His drunken scene was amazing. He has such boyish charm and is a delight.
Yep, international viewers love My Dearest Nemesis, and their ratings and comments continue to prove that.
