The ongoing Korean drama Marry My Husband continued to grab fan’s attention with Episode 6 earning a new personal ratings best last night.
New data via Nielsen Korea shows Marry My Husband, Episode 6 earned 7.77 percent of the nationwide audience share on Tuesday night.
That is a nice increase from the K-drama’s previous episode’s rating of 7.37 percent, and another personal best for the superb Park Min Young-led drama.
In Seoul, Episode 6 saw a similar rating increase jumping from Episode 5’s audience share of 8.01 percent to Episode 6’s higher 8.32 percent — a personal best from Seoul viewers as well.
Both ratings placed the tvN drama in the #1 spot on cable TV for the day, while also likely proving the drama’s slight drop in ratings for Episode 5 was due to its delayed broadcast time.
Ratings from international viewers for Marry My Husband continue to soar
After Episode 6 aired last night, viewers outside South Korea are still giving Marry My Husband the same high ratings they have been giving the fantasy romance drama since it premiered on January 1st.
On My Drama List, Marry My Husband is grabbing an 8.6 out of 10 from that site’s users (anything above an 8.0 is very high for the Asian drama-focused website).
Meanwhile, on IMDB, the K-drama is currently receiving a strong 8.3 out of 10 from more than 600 viewers.
Fans too loved the references to the Korean boy band BTS in last night’s episode, with others also commenting that it also is quite faithful to the popular webtoon the drama is based on.
Marry My Husband stars Park Min Young, Na In Woo, Lee Yi Kyung, and Song Ha Yoon.
The next episode of the now-popular Korean drama will air on tvN and TVING in South Korea on Monday, January 22nd.
