Lovely Runner Ep 3 jumps in ratings – #1 in time slot – international fans raving about it too

Lovely Runner, Episode 3 jumps to #1 in time slot from last week’s #3
Happy to see the new tvN drama Lovely Runner, Episode 3 jumping in the ratings last night to not only earn its highest rating yet, but also move from third in its time slot last week to #1 last night.
The ratings via Nielsen Korea show Lovely Runner, Episode 3 jumped back over the 3.0 percent mark to earn 3.44 percent nationwide.
That’s a sweet increase from Episode 2’s 2.71 percent (which was the Korean drama’s lowest rating so far, by the way).
The fantasy romance drama performed even better with audiences in Seoul, grabbing 3.67 percent of the viewership — up from the 2.91 percent it earned for Episode 2.
International viewer ratings for Lovely Runner
The Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon-led drama also continues to be incredibly popular with international viewers who are rating it on platforms like My Drama List, Viki (where its streaming for their subscribers) and IMDB.
Folks on My Drama List (who are notoriously stingy with their ratings) are giving the Korean drama a very high (for them!) 8.9 out of 10, while on Viki the Korean drama is earning a massive 9.8 out of 10.
Even IMDB users, who can also be mean with their reviews, are rating the tvN drama a 9.0 out of 10.
Sure, some of the higher ratings will be due to Lovely Runner starring Byeon Wook Seok (Strong Girl Namsoon), as he has a very loyal fan following.
But even that wouldn’t normally earn a drama these type of high ratings if it didn’t also have an interesting plot and excellent performances by the lead actors. (It does, by the way!)
The next episode of Lovely Runner will air tonight on tvN, with Viki streaming the latest episode internationally soon after.
Let’s see if it can maintain or even improve its rating further, eh?
