Moving‘s Lee Jung Ha said to have been offered main role in Thank You
While Korean actor Lee Jung Ha already had a promising career playing supporting roles in various dramas (Run On, and Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung), it wasn’t until last year’s Moving when his career really took off.
It was then that Lee Jung Ha’s portrayal of high school student Kim Bong Seok grabbed both the attention of K-drama fans worldwide, and the folks who produce the dramas we love.
That is why the 25-year-old actor is suddenly getting many more high-profile acting offers than before.
Roles like the just announced male lead Gu Han Soo in the upcoming tvN drama Thank You.
A role offer neither Lee Jung Ha nor his agency Namoo Actors have confirmed or denied as yet but, if confirmed will mean the Korean actor will be the main lead in two dramas this year — now that his inclusion on the cast list of One: High School Heroes has been confirmed.
What do we know about new tvN drama Thank You so far?
While not much information has been released about the Thank You drama so far, Korean news media is reporting the new drama has some things in common with last year’s Numbers in that it follows an audit team in a large construction company who unearth massive corruption by management.
It is up to them to not only stop the corruption but to expose both the corruption and the people perpetrating it to the world at large.
Lee Jung Ha is said to have been offered the role of new audit office employee Gu Han Soo. A young man who is honest, and with boundless energy when it comes to exposing the crimes of those who deserve it.

Meanwhile, other actors signed on to Thank You include Shin Ha Kyun (Beyond Evil), Jin Goo (Shadow Detective) and Jo Aram (Doctor Cha).
Thank You is being directed by Kwon Young Il (Doom at Your Service and My Unfamiliar Family), and is set for a July, 2024 premiere on tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama time slot.
