Kwak Sun Young to play lawyer who champions female victims of violence in K-drama Honour?

Kwak Sun Young joining Lee Na Young, Jung Eun Chae in legal mystery drama Honour?
News out of Korea is reporting Crash star Kwak Sun Young is currently in talks to star in Honour, a new legal mystery thriller being directed by Park Geon Ho (Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard).
The 41-year-old actress is reportedly in talks alongside Lee Na Young (Romance is a Bonus Book), and Jung Eun Chae (Jeongnyeon: A Star is Born) to star as one of a trio of high-powered lawyers.
In response to the report, Kwak Sun Young’s agency Zion Entertainment made the usual comment:
She has been offered a part in Honour, and is currently reviewing it.
What is the Honour plot?
The upcoming Korean drama Honour is based on a Swedish drama of the same name (Heder in Swedish), which stars Sofia Helin, Alexandra Rapaport, Julia Dufvenius and Anja Lundqvist.
The series follows four female lawyers who band together to fight cases involving violence against women.
But, as soon as they begin to make a name for themselves, all four are suddenly contacted by an unknown person from the criminal underworld who then sets out to destroy their lives via threats, vandalizing their offices, and even sending sexual images meant to terrorize them.
As you might expect, all this does is embolden them to fight even harder.
Actress and producer Sofia Helin explained the reason for the drama’s title in this way:
When you abuse someone, you take away their honor. It is the last thing you have left.
Heder has currently had three seasons released in Sweden, which also opens the door for more than one season of K-drama Honour should it be as successful.
All three seasons of the Swedish drama are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Honour roles offered Kwak Sun Young, Lee Na Young and Jung Eun Chae?
The role offered Kwak Sun Young is reportedly that of Hwang Hyun Jin, a bold and action-oriented lawyer at L&J Law Firm.
Meanwhile, Lee Na Young has been offered the role of fellow lawyer Yu Ra Yeong, a high-profile lawyer who is known for her speaking skills and stunning appearance.
If she accepts the role, Jung Eu Chae will play third lawyer Kang Sin Jae. A woman who does not care about the methods she needs to use to get to her goal.
There is no word yet on whether Lee Na Young and Jung Eun Chae have accepted their offers but, if all three women do, this could be one of the most interesting female-headed K-dramas in quite a while.
