PLOT
The Great Yan prince, Murong Jing He (played by Liu Xue Yi), leads the Weibei Army in recapturing the lost territory of Qingzhou. However, after the victorious entry into the city, a massive fire suddenly breaks out in Qingzhou.
Rumors spread among the citizens that Murong Jing He, the Weibei General, harbors resentment toward the people of Qingzhou for betraying Great Yan, and that he issued the order to set fire to the city and slaughter its inhabitants.
Because of this, he transforms from the righteous Weibei General into the so-called “Butcher General,” hated by all.
A young Qingzhou woman, Mei Lin (played by Wu Jin Yan), who loses her family in the fire, vows from that moment on to personally take the life of the one responsible for the massacre. Mei Lin joins a secret organization known as the Dark Factory, where she consumes the Momai poison to become a death warrior.
After years of brutal training, she embarks on her first assassination mission — only to discover that her target is none other than Murong Jing He, the very man whose death she has been craving day and night.
Thus, under the Dark Factory’s arrangement, Mei Lin becomes one of a hundred beautiful women sent from Western Yan to Great Yan as part of a marriage alliance, waiting for an opportunity to assassinate Murong Jing He.
What she does not know, however, is that the mastermind behind the assassination plot — the owner of the Dark Factory — is Murong Jing He himself.
