Jo Jin Woong to star in No Way Out alongside Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Mu Yeol and Lee Kwang Soo?

Actor Jo Jin Woong (also known as Cho Jin Woong) may be taking over the role in No Way Out first given to Lee Sun Gyun now the latter is currently under investigation for possibly violating South Korea’s strict Drugs Control Act.
According to Korean news media, Jo Jin Woong’s agency Saram Entertainment has confirmed the 47-year-old actor is currently reviewing the offer.
What we currently know about Jo Jin Woong possible role in No Way Out
No Way Out is an upcoming crime drama that takes place after a criminal is released from prison after serving 13 years.
Due to the supposed danger to the general public, a 20 billion won bounty is offered to anyone who kills him although, of course, like most Korean dramas, there is probably more to the situation than meets the eye
As murder is still illegal in South Korea, no matter who commits it, police officer Baek Joong Sik is assigned to protect the criminal from those who wish to murder him.
Should Jo Jin Woong accept the role, he will play Baek Joong Sik.
Who else stars in No Way Out?
No Way Out (native title노 웨이 아웃) is being directed by Choi Kook Hee (Life is Beautiful).
The crime drama will also star Yoo Jae Myung who is hot off the superb drama Song of the Bandits, Kim Mu Yeol (Sweet Home), and Lee Kwang Soo (The Killer’s Shopping List).
Taiwanese actor Greg Hsu (Someday or One Day) is in a supporting role, alongside Yeom Jung Ah (SKY Castle).
What else has Jo Jin Woong starred in?
Most recently, actor Jo Jin Woong is most known for his role as Kim Eun Gap in the 2016 comedy drama Entourage, and for his role as Lee Jae Han in Signal the same year.
He also made a recent guest appearance in The Good, Bad Mother.
Most of his most famous roles, however, are in films with his performances in movies as diverse as Dead Man, Me and Me, A Hard Day and Black Money lauded by critics.
The Busan native is also the recipient of a slew of awards for some of those performances including a recent Golden Cinema Film Festival award for his performance in the film Black Money, and a Busan Film Critics Award for his role as detective Park Hyung Goo in the mystery film Me and Me.
There is no word yet on when No Way Out will begin filming, or where or when it will air.
