Goryeo–Khitan War E4 grabs HIGHEST EVER rating in Korea as Viki viewers rate it 9.6 out of 10

Number of Koreans watching Goryeo–Khitan War, Episode 4 increases markedly
The new Korean historical drama Goryeo–Khitan War, Episode 4 aired last night to its highest ever ratings.
According to new numbers from Nielsen Korea, Goryeo–Khitan War, Episode 4 earned a full 7.0 percent of the audience share nationwide, which is a big jump from its previous episode’s rating of 5.2 percent.
In Seoul, the 32-planned-episode K-drama saw a similar ratings increase on Sunday night, with a 6.4 percent rating in the nation’s capital compared to its Saturday night episode’s 5.1 percent.
Unfortunately for those of us in Europe, there is no word yet from Netflix as to whether we will get access to this superb-looking Korean drama, or if it will be relegated to South Korea and the small number of Asian countries that can currently watch it on the streaming platform.
With 28 more episodes of Goryeo–Khitan War to air, though, we can only hope.
Viki viewers giving Goryeo–Khitan War very high ratings
For audiences in North America, however, it is not likely Netflix will be streaming the Korean drama any time soon as Kocowa currently has the license for viewers in that region alongside Viki.
Viki viewers already seem to love the historical drama, as the current rating after Episode 4 aired is a crazy high 9.6 out of 10, and with almost every comment left being massively positive for the drama’s plot, cinematography, costumes and, of course, its actors’ performances.
Viewers’ only gripes seem to be the English sub-titles on Viki, which like many on that fan-subbed platform, are not always the best.
The ongoing Korean drama Goryeo–Khitan War (aka Korea-Khitan War) stars Kim Dong-jun, Choi Soo-jong, and Ji Seung-hyun.
Inside Korea, the historical drama is currently airing on KBS2 at 21:25 on Saturday and Sunday nights.
