After climbing from 6500 to 8000 on YOUKU’s heat index in just 24 hours, Chinese fantasy drama When Destiny Brings the Demon has now exceeded 9500 on the platform’s heat index.
Meaning it only has another 500 points to earn before it passes the magical 10000 on YOUKU — a milestone that indicates a drama is a big success.
In response to the news When Destiny Brings the Demon has passed 9500, YOUKU released another beautiful poster (above), this time featuring most of the main and lead supporting cast, with a message that tagged each actor’s Weibo account:

The Arthur Chen and Wang Ying Lu-led wuxia romance drama premiered on YOUKU on August 16th with three episodes, and has dropped a couple of new episodes a day since.
The first 7 episodes are now available for VIP subscribers of the streaming platform, while those drama fans willing to pay extra to watch Episode 8 a full 24 hours early already have access to it.
