
Beauty and Mr. Romantic, Episode 50 ended the South Korean weekend drama last night with the Kdrama’s highest ratings of its run.
According to the latest data from Nielsen Korean, the drama’s nationwide ratings were slightly higher than its rating for Episode 49, but markedly higher in Seoul.
That’s because nationwide, Beauty and Mr. Romantic, Episode 50 garnered 21.4 percent of the audience, which was a small increase from its previous episode’s 19.8 percent viewership.
But, in Seoul, Beauty and Mr. Romantic earned 20.4 percent, which was a substantial increase from Episode 49’s 17.6 percent.
Due to those superb ratings in both regions, the drama was also the most-watched show of any kind on all channels on Korean TV for the entire week.
Beauty and Mr. Romantic stars main leads Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo.
The weekend drama aired on KBS2 in South Korea from its premiere on March 23rd, 2024 to September 22nd.
Outside South Korea, the K-drama streams via Viki, with all 50 episodes now available to watch with subtitles in more than 10 languages.
Next week, the Kim Jung Hyun, Keum Sae Rok-led drama Iron Family will begin airing in its place in the same Saturday-Sunday timeslot.
