As the Olympic Games drag on causing Korean dramas to be put on the backburner by various South Korean broadcasters, it is not only nice to have MBN still airing Bad Memory Eraser, it is also cool the K-drama just earned its highest rating yet.
According to Nielsen Korea, Bad Memory Eraser, Episode 3 aired on Friday night to a solid jump in nationwide ratings from Episode 2’s viewership of 0.93 percent to last night’s 1.66 percent.
That is a sizable ratings increase for a drama that airs on one of the smaller Korean cable TV stations.
The Kim Jae Joong, Jin Se Yeon, Lee Jong Won, and Yang Hye Ji-led drama is also performing well on Viki, where it is streaming for international audiences.
Over there, it is currently rated a high 9.5 out of 10.

Yeeeeek!!! The male lead is so adorable, I can’t stand it! 🥰😻😊 The character starts out so sad and wretched, but then becomes just a heart-flutteringly teddy bear after the surgery in the first episode. (He’s a little narcissistic afterward for a bit, but it’s excusable in the context of the story.)

Something I agree with as, from the plot descriptions released, I didn’t expect Bad Memory Eraser to be my cup of tea but, with plot twists, excellent writing, a well-planned-out story and superb performances from all the leads, it has become one of the biggest (nice) surprises of the year so far.
Bad Memory Eraser airs on MBN in South Korea every Friday and Saturday evening 21:40 (KST). (It’s just a pity MBN has done such a poor job of promoting the K-drama).
U-Next streams it in Japan, with Viki offering it to their large international subscriber base.
