Arthdal Chronicles 2 Ep 2 ratings FALL slightly but drama still in FIRST place on cable TV

Second Episode of Arthdal Chronicles 2 ratings fell, but nothing to worry about so far
The Korean fantasy drama Arthdal Chronicles 2, Episode 2 aired last night on tvN in South Korea, and on Disney Plus for international viewers.
The episode’s ratings fell slightly in South Korea, but were still strong enough to place the tvN drama in first place on cable TV — both nationwide and in Seoul — so not a big deal, eh?
Figures from Nielsen Korea show Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun, Episode 2 earned 4.62 percent of the audience share nationwide, which is a slight drop from its first episode’s 4.96 percent on Saturday night.
In Seoul, the drama saw a similar drop with Seoul viewers earning 4.87 percent, which is down from the 5.36 percent it earned for Episode 1.
That being said, many Korean dramas see a fall in ratings for their second episode and then pick back up again almost immediately.
That means it is difficult to assess what Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun’s ratings will look like for the rest of its run.
What is Arthdal Chronicles 2?
The historical fantasy K-drama Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun (aka Arthdral Chronicles 2) stars Jang Dong Gun, Lee Joon Gi, Shin Sae Kyeong, Kim Ok Bin, Park Hae Joon and Cha Yong Hak.
The critically acclaimed and fan favorite drama takes place 10 years after the original story, during a time when Ta Gon’s Kingdom of Arthdal and Eun Seom’s Ago Union are about to face a great war.
That means we can expect to see an epic battle between Ta Gon and Eun Seom, with one fighting for freedom while the other fights for power.
Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun, Episode 2 is now streaming via Disney Plus, with the first season of the fantasy series still available via Netflix.
