6,500 on YOUKU’s heat index signifies moderate success
Update, November 29th: (see poster below) as I expected, Second Chance Romance has already exceeded 7,000 on the heat index, now making it a definite success
Wallace Chung and Qin Lan’s new romance drama Second Chance Romance premiered yesterday, and has already earned 6,500 on YOUKU’s heat index today.
Two posters dropped celebrating the C-drama’s first milestones, one of Wallace Chung as Feng Rui as the drama earned 6,000, and then a second of Qin Lan as Tan Si Ting as it hit its 6,500 achievement.
Now, while 6,500 usually indicates moderate success for a Chinese drama, it’s just two days into the series’ scheduled 28 episodes, and it’s very likely, considering the buzz in various online forums and on social media, Second Chance Romance is likely to climb higher on the index.
